In Praise Of #2: The Haggis

Howdy folks, time tonight for a short and affectionate message to this, the king of all sausages.
This humble meal receives a largely negative depiction, it is often a byword for disgusting, or primitive foodstuffs. Yes, it is made in a sheep's stomach, and is offal which is ground up before oats and spices are added. I say, don't be squeamish, enjoy the flavour, which is second to none.

Think about the hot dog you're eating, you think that's proper meat? you think that's a more morally justifiable meal? It isn't, it's the bits you don't want to think about, and it tastes awful. Haggis, on the other hand, is the tastiest, heartiest sausage around, and it couldn't go better than with mashed up turnip and mashed potatoes. If you disagree with this, you are wrong.

Ok, I'll admit it's tastier than it looks. [source]
