Life without electricity (sucks ass)

I had the grave misfortune to live life without electricty last night. There was a storm, and it knocked out the power for 12 hours. We are relatively isolated, and so when it got dark, it really got dark. We drank wine, chatted, and read by candlelight. It was fun this once, but living like that must have been incredibly dispiriting. I say that because we nearly killed each other over a game of monopoly, and using a small torch to light up a shower was horrifying. Thank science for electricty!
